 Background
I've lived in Lafayette my entire life and have seen it grow into a wonderful, vibrant community.
There is so much to do. Our quality of life is just GOOD.
My two grown children, Susan and Matt, were educated here and thrived in our school system.
Susan and her husband, Gary, live in Charlotte,
Tennessee. Matt and his wife, Barb, live in Mulberry, Indiana.
My husband, Jerry, came to Lafayette in 1962 in a corporate move with Lafayette Life insurance company.
He came from Norfolk, Virginia and never returned. We find that many people do that! He took early retirement in 1987 and
continues to work full time in the area of life insurance and financial planning. (I recently received
my license and am working with him in my spare time!)
Lafayette Relocation Services has evolved over a 23 year period. My first 10 years were spent doing
"corporate relocation" for a local real estate company. The last
13 years I've been self employed and
I am loving it! We work with most of the real estate companies in town. We bought a beautiful old
building down town and Jerry and I have our offices together there.
Just the word "Relocation" means that I am on call. My career has been helping my clients with ANYTHING!
Every family has their own special needs. I try to fill those needs. It is exhausting, but I seem to
thrive on it.
Our lives have been richly blessed by many friends, who started out as my clients. When they leave town for job
transfers, retirement, etc, I help them with long-distance referrals...It's just another part of what I do. I
would love to assist you and your family too!
