A Little About Me

 

I have lived in Lafayette my entire life, but have had the privilege of traveling the world with my late husband. There is no other place I would prefer to live. We both agreed that "Lafayette will always be our home!"

My daughter, Susan, has moved back from Tennessee and owns and operates the Woodhaven Rescue Farm. She takes in and cares for many (over 60) animals that have been abused and neglected. Woodhaven is home to horses, mini horses, llamas, alpacas, goats, a huge pig, chickens, peacocks etc., etc. She works “Around the clock” caring for these critters. (This is a great place to Volunteer.)

My son, Mat and his wife Barb also have many pets. They have been married 20 years and will never leave Lafayette. Both of my granddaughters, Ashley and Abby are at Purdue and doing very well.

I recently moved my office to my home and when I am not working, I am following my family with our projects and volunteering.

​

I have always been heavily involved in community service. It’s a huge part of my life. I always invite our newcomers to join me in these efforts. It’s a wonderful way to become part of our exciting community and forge lasting friendships.
